Mailcare: our own email service, live at mailcare.online
Mailcare is the email service BlessThis built for itself and runs today. It is our own product, so there is no client name on this page.
- Product: Mailcare, mailboxes on your own domain, newsletters and automatic emails
- Who it serves: any business that wants email on its own domain and a CRM
- Status today: live at mailcare.online
What does the Mailcare case show?
Mailcare is the email service BlessThis built and runs itself: mailboxes on your own domain, newsletters, and automatic emails from your site. It is a subscription you set up yourself, or with our help. For any business that also wants order instead of chaos in its leads, we run our own CRM next to it.
The task
Any business needs email on its own domain, so it looks serious, a way to send newsletters to people who asked for them, and a CRM (a tool that keeps customers and deals in one place) that it can set up without an integrator. Many CRMs are heavier than that.
What we built and how it works
We built one service for the mail side and run it ourselves. These parts work in the product today:
- Subscriber lists. People confirm their subscription by a link in the email (double opt-in). Sign-up forms can be embedded in a page or shown as a popup, and you can import an existing list. Unsubscribing by link is logged.
- Newsletters. You pick the recipients and the template, set a schedule and send yourself a test first. The statistics show opens, clicks, unsubscribes, bounces and complaints. Chains of emails can wait and branch on conditions.
- Automatic emails. Messages your site sends by itself, such as a receipt, go out through the same platform and connect to your systems.
- Your sending domain. You add your own domain, and the platform shows what to set up so mail from it is trusted.
- Mailboxes. You connect your domain, Mailcare checks its mail settings, and you create mailboxes and aliases. People read mail in web mail with a one-click sign-in, or in a mail app. Corporate mail is prepaid and charged daily.
You choose who sets it up: you, or us. The Business email page describes the setup for mailboxes.
